GUEST SERVICES MINISTRY
This ministry strives to make attendees of Riverside feel welcome and 'at home;' while we try and pay special attention to our guests, the goal of Guest Services is to make the Riverside experience an enjoyable and worthwhile one for everyone!
Parking Lot: Be the first Riverside people to greet someone...even before they enter the church! Responsibilties may include directing traffic flow in our parking lot, ensuring the safety of all pedestrians and their vehicles, and assisting with special events.
Greeters: If you are energetic and outgoing, this ministry may be for you! Greet and assist all those who come through our doors - be the smile that brightens their day.
Ushers: Assist in a variety of ways during worship including greeting and assisting guests in our main sanctuary and Video Café and collecting offering. This ministry goes well beyond simply seating people - our ushers help to make sure you are as ready as possible to worship!
Riverside Café: You will prepare and serve donuts, coffee, and other treats at one of our two Riverside Cafés. Those who enjoy the kitchen and presenting goodies will enjoy our upstairs café, while those who enjoy the fast paced activity of kids and young families will have a blast at our downstairs café!
Welcome Center: Our welcome center team offers helpful advice in finding answers to the qeustions guests have, or connecting them with someone else who knows. Those with the knack of being available "just to help" will love this ministry!

Communion: Preparing communion trays for Sunday worship, and volunteering to help clean up after the services is an easy but important way you can serve the body of Riverside.
Prayer: Do you have a heart for others? You can be part of our intercessory prayer team and bring the needs of the body before our Lord and Savior.

SMALL GROUP MINISTRY
A small group is a place of connection for people to come together on a regular basis to connect, grow and serve. The activities are assisted by an identified leader with the purpose of providing an environment where participants encounter authentic community and are transformed by experiencing grace, growing in love, and giving of themselves.
Leader: The leader gives oversight to the group by offering servant leadership which facilitates the group time toward the goal of developing community and becoming fully devoted followers of Christ. They are responsible for helping provide the group with vision, direction and support.
Apprentice: An apprentice ministers in a small group under the mentoring of the small group leader.
Host: This ministry is opening your home for the small group meeting. This host family is responsible to create an atmosphere of warmth and acceptance of other group members. Dedication to this component makes it possible for the small group leader to concentrate on leading the group.
Participant: A small group is a place where you can develop community with others here at Riverside, where you can be loved and where you may love others by engaging in real relationships based on God's Word. It is also a place where you will find encouragement and accountability; you won't stand alone when life is tough or does not make sense.
