Nursery Team (Birth - Age 2)
Sundays during both services:
Nursery Team Leader: Serves during one service every 4 weeks to lead the team members who are caring for children in the nursery. Includes calling nursery volunteers scheduled for the week, leading a connecting/meeting time with team prior to serve, greeting families and assisting in the computerized check-in process, and various light administrative functions on the day of service.
Nursery Team Member: Serves during one service every 4 weeks by caring for children in the nursery.

The Big Story Guide will help provide a welcoming environment where children feel love and acceptance. They will reinforce the large group lesson through fun and engaging activities, while building relationships with the children. · Minimum Age: High School · Serves every Sunday during one service Minimum preparation involved Youth Helper The Youth Helper will assist the Big Story Guide in maintaining a positive environment, helping with the activities, and building relationships with the children. · Minimum Age: 10 years old · Serves every Sunday during one service No preparation involved Storyteller (Large Group Leader) The Storyteller will present God’s Big Story in a creative and captivating way, while interacting with other characters, puppets and/or media. · Minimum Age: High School · Serves once every four weeks during both services Preparation includes memorizing a script and Sunday morning rehearsal @ 8 am Worship Leader The Worship Leader will lead children in worship through age-appropriate songs. · Minimum Age: High School · Serves once every four weeks during both services Preparation includes memorizing a short script, learning the motions for the songs, and Sunday morning rehearsal @ 8 am Tech Team As a member of the Tech team, you will operate the sound, lights, PowerPoint, and DVD for the large group teaching time. (Training will be provided.) · Minimum Age: Middle School · Serves once every four weeks during both services Must attend the large group rehearsal Sunday morning @ 8 am Drama/Puppet Team As a member of the Drama/Puppet team, you will participate in the large group time by interacting with the Storyteller and/or Worship Leader as a minor character/puppet in the lesson. · Minimum Age: Middle School · To be scheduled when needed; will serve both services on scheduled days Preparation may include memorizing a script; Must attend the large group rehearsal Sunday morning @ 8 am Art and Props Team As a member of the Art and Props team, you will work with the Early Childhood Director to find or make props for the large group teaching time. Themes typically change every four weeks. · Minimum Age: High School Serves as needed; coordinated with EC Director Early Childhood Point Person The Point Person will be available before, during, and after the service. They will make sure the teachers are in the rooms, be available to answer questions, and fill in as needed. · Minimum Age: Adult · Serves every Sunday for one service Minimal preparation involved One-on-One If you have a compassionate heart for kids with special needs, this is the perfect serving opportunity for you. · Minimum Age: High School · Serves every Sunday for one service No preparation involved Big Story Guide Youth Helper Caring youth to assist Big Story Guide with children. Develop relationships, participate alongside children, and help as needed in classroom. Limited prep required Director Helpful and flexible adult to oversee one service; ensuring groups have enough supplies for activities, introduce new children to other kids their age, assist with behavior needs if necessary, be available to help wherever needed. Limited prep required Storyteller (Large Group Leader) Engaging personality to serve as a member of the teaching team, presenting the main lesson to students in grades 1-5. Preparation includes memorizing a script and Sunday morning rehearsal @ 8 am Worship Leader Outgoing personality to lead children in worship during the main lesson as a member of the teaching team. Preparation includes memorizing a short script, learning the motions for the songs, and Sunday morning rehearsal @ 8 am Arts & Props Team Creative individuals who want to work behind-the-scenes to help create an exciting, inviting environment by creating sets, props, and art pieces that enhance our ministry to kids. Administrative Team Detail-oriented people to do a variety of activities including: enter information into database weekly recording Bible points; gather supplies for small group activities; make copies; restock worship bags; etc. Tech Team Students and adults who want to help in a behind-the-scenes way, running sound, projection, lights, etc. Training is provided. Must attend the large group rehearsal Sunday morning @ 8 am

Nurturing personality to welcome children into their classroom, build relationships, and lead follow-up activities after the large group teaching.
