Why Belong To A Small Group?
>> It's easy to get lost in a big church. Belonging to a small group helps you feel at home. As one person describes it, "Small group is where we do life together." Being there in goodtimes and bad, makes a large church feel like family.
>> Small group helps you deepen your own connection with God. By discussing the message
from the Sunday before, you learn how to put the Word of God into practice. Seeing answers
to prayer, or being there for each other when it seems they aren't being answered,
strengthens and sustains our faith.
>> But more and more are saying that the best part about small group is serving others. We ask
all our small groups to do something to make life better for the community or world. Each
group determines what they will do and how often. The Community Life Staff has ideas and
places where you can share the good news in word and deed.

What Is Small Group Like?
>> They are relationally driven; it's where you make friends.>> They are sermon based; you don't have to have the gift of teaching to host a group, just
a willingness to host and facilitate conversation from discussion questions we provide online and
in print.
>> They are community focused; what starts out as huddle becomes a team that serves together.
>> They usually meet weekly or every other week.
