SWitch [Grades 5-6]

SWitch is a ministry designed for 5th & 6th grade students, complementing what we do on Sundays for 5th Grade, and Wednesdays for 6th Grade.  It provides a transition piece for the students, and a connecting piece to bridge the gap between Children’s Ministry and Student Ministry.  SWitch is led by our Pastor of Student Ministries, Dan Boal and our Pastor of Children’s Ministries, Chip Garrison. 

Three goals of the ministry:

>> Students will have regular FUN events in which to invite friends  (Grace)

>> Students will have a place to belong and grow with their peers (Grow)

>> Students will have a place to serve (Give)

What to Expect

Outreach/FUN Event every 3-4 weeks during the school year and larger events during the summer (see schedule below).

SWitch Game Nights:

For 5th and 6th graders (2012-2013 school year)
Time: 6 - 10pm
Cost:  $3, but free if you bring a friend who doesn't attend Riverside

SWitch Waterpark :

This is the First SWitch event for 4th graders and Last SWitch event for 6th graders (2012-2013 school year)
Date: Saturday, May 18th
Time: 9am-5pm
Cost: $30
