Dear Riverside Family,
    I want to thank this congregation for the great depth of maturity and grace that has been demonstrated in the past couple of months, as we have dealt with some very sensitive subjects in our services (like adultery, lust, divorce, our words and revenge), and as I shared in some detail about our church’s financial challenges in the February offering envelope letter.  Normally, these are all topics that are not always easy to talk about and can be misconstrued, but this has not happened here.  The feedback that I have received on all of these matters has been overwhelmingly positive, and the questions I have been asked have been thoughtful and gracious.  Thank you for being a church family that deals with real but tough subjects like these in such a positive and helpful way.

I also want to thank everyone who participated in our Day of Prayer and Fasting February 6th.  It was a real encouragement to me to know that so many of you were joining us in this time of seeking the Lord.

March is another great month here at Riverside, as we continue to study the Sermon on the Mount and engage in great services and ministries here!  Thanks for the privilege you give me to be your Pastor.
